New Moon in Aries
Spring time for me is a time to go out into the world and try new thing, meet with friends, travel, and overall enjoy this new year and season. It is safe to say that this will most likely not be the case for me this year given the state of the world with COVID-19 and our stay-at-home orders. As an extrovert this has been an incredibly difficult transition for me and has really pushed me to reorganize not only my home space but my schedule and where I spend my energy in. It is this same energy of reflection and restructuring that I am taking into this New Moon and Sun in Aries.
This full moon in Aries is all about opening up to new things, goals, and intentions. It is the perfect time to focus that fiery Aries energy to fuel smaller goals and ambitions that can be achieved from the confines of your own home. Just because we are stuck at home does not mean we can’t practice our magick and have it fuel our lives. Here are a couple of things that I will be doing tonight during this new moon feel free to join me if you like!
Tarot Card Spread
If you are unsure about what you want to change or what area of your life calls for a new beginning on you can always use divination! Here is a 3 card spread that I did to give me some insight into what I can let go, where I can ground myself and where I can focus my energy.
Reset Meditation
As I mentioned earlier, having to stay at home as been really hard for me. I am a high key Libra and require a lot of fresh air and socialization in order for me to feel healthy and connected and have been really stuck on the feeling of being trapped inside my own home. While some of it is due to the reality of our situation, a lot of it has to do with my mindset and the type of energy I am putting into this situation. Today I will be doing a mediation to work on resetting my mindset and letting go of some of the fear and anxiety that I have been feeling lately.
Light a candle (whatever color speaks to you or is available to you)
Write down what you want to let go of
Write down what you want to bring in
Sit for 20-30min and meditate on those feelings (I like listening to a playlist like this one in the background)
Finish your meditation and blow out your candle.
Other Things You can Do
Burn candles
Fumigate your home by burning sacred herbs (don’t forget to seal with a protection oil)
Take a Ritual Bath
Work on your vision board
Start a garden / Repot your plants
Make a crystal grid
